Mahereza volunteer: Sakaya

Sayaka Mitsuna is one of the Japanese volunteers in the JICA group. She works at the Basic Health Center II of Ambalavato, her mission is focused on health and nutrition. Sayaka helps the Mahereza nutrition house with training the parents. Last Monday, she was at the center to raise parents' awareness of hand washing. Afterward, she gave a cooking demonstration on a Japanese meal, OKONOMIAKI, of which all the ingredients can be found in Antsirabe: cabbage, onion, minced meat, egg, flour, oil and salt. The preparation is the same as making cabbage donut, but the oil used is very little.
