Member Story: 11 month-old Nandraina

Nomena is a 16-year-old mother who has an 11-month-old little girl named Nandraina. Nandraina weighs barely 6 kg. She does not work to take care of her daughter and her husband is a docker. Suffice to say that their budget is very tight. Despite her very young age and her many difficulties, the young woman walks several km every day to reach the center because she is aware that her daughter's health is a priority. She was directed by her neighborhood health center who alerted her to her daughter's growth delay. The neighborhood centers and the nutrition house are essential for the care provided to children and the advice provided to moms who are told to do as much as soon as possible. The children thank their joy of living, with their smiles, and their strength reminds everyone of the importance of their missions.
