Member story : 8 month-old Mael

Mael is an 8 month old little boy whose mother died delivering him. His father takes care of him with the help of his grandmother, Marie Madeleine.

Mael's father has done his best to provide food for his child. He spent all his weekly earnings on powdered formula seeing that Mael could not breastfeed as his mother passed away.

Mael is malnourished, which is why the Community Agent in his neighborhood sent him to the Mahereza Nutrition and Health Center. He entered our program in February and his father attends all the educational sessions.

Mael ate well and finished the daily snack which includes #spirulina. His grandmother also attended the center and was eager to learn more about how to improve things at home for Mael to improve his health.
